Company profile

Factor I O Co., Ltd.

A Thailand-based engineering consultancy building Kubernetes and the infrastructure underneath it, with enterprise AI as the declared specialisation. Registered in Bangkok, led by its principal engineer, and engaged either directly by a business or alongside a technology partner. This page holds the details a procurement or vendor registration process asks for.

Small by design, and accountable for the technical work.

Factor I O Co., Ltd. is an independent engineering consultancy registered in Bangkok. It is deliberately small: the person who scopes the work is the person who builds it, so nothing is lost between the requirements conversation and the implementation. Every engagement is scoped around a decision, an integration or a result the business needs to show, with responsibilities and acceptance criteria agreed in writing before implementation begins. We are not a reseller and we hold no formal vendor certification, so the scope of each engagement is agreed with you directly rather than inherited from a partner programme.

The particulars a vendor registration asks for.

Registered details for contracting and supplier onboarding. Under Thai law the company registration number and the tax identification number are the same thirteen-digit number, so one value answers both fields on a registration form.

Four services, and the platform comes first.

The platform layer is the same whatever the business ends up running on it, which is why it leads. AI is the workload at the front of the queue today and the specialisation we go deep on. Each service can stand on its own or be one stage of the same delivery.

  1. Kubernetes and infrastructure

The platform your applications need, including Kubernetes and GPU infrastructure, designed to carry whatever the business runs on it rather than one workload in particular. Capacity, recovery, upgrades and day-to-day ownership are part of the design.

  2. Enterprise AI

Scoping what AI should do for the business, choosing an approach and building it into the environment you already run. The work covers model selection, system integration, testing and deployment.

  3. Knowledge systems

Making an organisation's own information useful to AI: which sources to trust, who may access them, and how they are kept current.

  4. AI governance

Deciding what AI may do on its own and when a person must approve the next step, then designing the controls around those decisions and how they will be tested.

Led by the engineer who does the work.

Thanat Manasakool, Founder and Principal Engineer. Nearly 20 years in enterprise infrastructure, with experience as an Ecosystem Solutions Architect for Red Hat and Nutanix, delivering architecture guidance and technical enablement to Thailand's leading SI partners. That background spans enterprise platforms, partner technical support and hands-on delivery, including Red Hat OpenShift and Nutanix NKP. You discuss the business requirement and the implementation detail with the same person.

How an engagement is structured.

The commercial shape is settled before any technical work starts.

  • Scoped before it starts

We agree the scope, the responsibilities on each side and the acceptance criteria in writing, so you know what will be delivered and what evidence will show it is done.

  • Two ways to bring us in

Directly, where we are accountable to you for the agreed technical scope. Or alongside a vendor, distributor or systems integrator, where your team holds the customer relationship and we take responsibility for the technical work.

  • Handover is part of the scope

Operating procedures are written down and worked through with your team before we step back. Ongoing support, where you want it, is agreed separately rather than assumed.

Four stages, agreed with you before anything gets built.

The same sequence on every engagement, whether it is a short assessment or a full delivery.

  1. Understand the requirement

Review your goals, existing systems and constraints. Identify what needs attention first.

  2. Agree the design

Set the scope, architecture and acceptance criteria so you know what will be delivered.

  3. Build and test

Implement the agreed solution. Use a focused pilot where an assumption needs testing before wider deployment.

  4. Deploy and hand over

Prepare the operating procedures and work through them with your team. Agree any ongoing support separately.

We work for you, and we protect your interests.

Thanat has worked with Red Hat and Nutanix, and some engagements do come through a vendor or an SI partner. We say so plainly so you can judge the technical background behind the advice. On your project, your interests are the ones we protect: recommendations follow your requirements and constraints, we say when a simpler or cheaper option would serve you better, and we disclose any relationship that could bear on our advice before it bears on a decision. We are not a reseller or a formally certified partner.
