Cat Countdown contains no advertisements, no advertising networks or SDKs, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party tracking of any kind. We do not earn money from your attention, so we have no reason to watch you.
We collect, store, and transmit no personal data. There are no user accounts, no analytics, and no telemetry. Everything you create in the app — your countdowns, dates, and settings — stays on your device.
There is exactly one way data can leave your device, and it is entirely your choice: the optional backup feature. When you turn it on, your data is uploaded to your own cloud account:
The backup lives inside your personal account with that provider and is governed by their privacy policy. Factor IO never receives, sees, or stores it. If you never turn backup on, no data ever leaves your device.
The only third parties ever involved are the cloud providers you opt into by enabling backup. We have no arrangement with them that gives us access to your data. Their policies: Google · Apple.
Because our apps collect no data from anyone, they collect no data from children either. Nothing is ever transmitted to us by any user of any age.
If this statement changes, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. If a change ever affects how an app handles your data, we will surface it in the app itself.
